Creamed Dried Beef

    Ingredients:

  • 8 oz dried beef, shredded
  • 4 tbls butter
  • 4 tbls flour
  • 2 1/2 cups milk

    Directions:

  1. Melt butter in pan add shredded dried beef. Cook until edges begin to curl and meat is slightly browned. Sprinkle flour over beef and allow to brown slightly. Slowly add milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly. Cook until mixture is smooth and thickened. Serve over toast. Makes 6 servings
