Bacon Pad Thai

Fragrant and exotic
perfect for spring

Ingredients:

  • 6 Strips GODSHALL’S Real Meat Turkey Bacon or Chicken Bacon
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Cup Diced Fried Tofu
  • 1 Egg
  • ½ lb Rice Noodles
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Tamarind Paste or ½ Cup Tamarind Sauce
  • 1 tsp Chili Oil or Paste (red)
  • ½ lb Shrimp Shelled and Deveined
  • 2 Limes
  • 1/4 Cup Crushed Peanuts
  • 2 Scallions Diced Fine from White to Mid-Green
  • 2 Cups Bean Sprouts

 Directions:

  1. Dice bacon and fry adding garlic and tofu to the pan.
  2. Scramble egg into pan.
  3. Add soaked noodles, shrimp and sauce and toss
  4. Add bean sprouts and Scallions and toss until shrimp is properly cooked
  5. Top with squeezes of Lime juice and crushed peanuts
  6. ENJOY!
