Maple Bacon Cupcakes

Maple Sweet, Smokey Flavor

Ingredients:

Cupcakes

  • 8 Slices GODSHALL’S Turkey Bacon (Chopped and Crisp)
  • 1 ½ Cup Flour
  • 1 ¾ Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • ¾ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Stick Butter (Unsalted)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ½ Cup Milk

Frosting

  • 1 Stick Butter (Unsalted)
  • 3 Tablespoons Milk
  • 3 Cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a cupcake pan with standard size baking cup liners
  2. Whisk flour and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, mix in sugar and butter. Blend lightly until fluffy. Then, add eggs and maple syrup.
  4. Add the flour/baking powder mixture and pour in milk. Mix well
  5. Set aside approx. 2 tablespoons on GODSHALL’S bacon to garnish. Mix the remaining bacon into the batter.
  6. Spread batter into the cupcake liners and bake for 20 minutes. Set aside to cool for 10-15 minutes then remove the cupcakes from the pan.
  7. For frosting, mix the butter, maple syrup and milk in a bowl. Then add powdered sugar. Mix and blend until fluffy.
  8. Frost cupcakes and garnish with the extra bacon
