Pear, Goat Cheese
& Turkey Bacon
1 long loaf of french bread
3 slices Godshall’s fully cooked turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
1-2 fresh pears, cored and sliced
4 oz light cream cheese aka neufchâtel cheese, softened
3 oz goat cheese olive oil
Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Slice the brerad, and arrange on a non-stick sprayed baking sheet.
Stir olive oil with salt and pepper and brush onto slices.
Toast for 5-10 minutes in oven.
Crumble or coarse dice bacon
Mix together the goat cheese and cream cheese; season with salt and pepper.
Spread cheese mixture on toasts and top with slice of cold pear, sprinkle warm bacon on top.
