Bacon Apple Tartlets
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 2 Boxes Pre-made Pie Crust
- 3 Granny Smith Apples (Peeled, Cut into Even Pieces)
- 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Sugar
- • Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cloves
- 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch
- 4 Tablespoon Butter
Streusel:
- 4 Slices GODSHALL’S Turkey Bacon (Diced)
- 3/4 Cup Flour
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 4 Tablespoon Butter (2 Tablespoon Melted, 2 Tablespoon Cold)
Instructions:
- Using a cookie cutter or cup cut circles out of pre-made dough to fit the pan and press in for the pie shell.
- Filling: Mix all the ingredients together so the apples are coated.
- Fill the pie shells with the filling.
- Streusel: Mix the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Cut up the butter and mix with the ingredients to resemble coarse sand. Mix in bacon pieces and melted butter.
- Top the filling with the streusel mixture and bake at 350 for 30minutes.
