Great Game-Time Snack:
Bacon Cheddar Jalapeño Poppers
1/2 Pack Godshall’s Turkey Bacon
6 Jalapeño Peppers
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Shred cheddar cheese and blend into room temperature cream cheese with fork.
Slice Jalapeño peppers down the middle, vertically. Use sharp knife to gut the contents of the pepper, discarding the seeds.
Generously scoop the cheese mixture into the hollowed pepper half. Place the other side of the pepper onto the cheese.
Lay out individual strips of turkey bacon and roll pepper up, one slice per pepper. Be sure to roll at an angle to cover most of the pepper.
Bake @ 400 degrees until bacon begins to crisp and darken in color.
