Bacon Cheesesteak Cups

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup GODSHALL’S Smoky CRUMBLZ or 6 Slices GODSHALL’S Turkey Bacon (Browned and Diced)
  • 1 lb Rib Eye Steak
  • 1/4 Cup Mozzarella (Shredded)
  • 1/4 Cup Romano (Shredded)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Onion (Chopped)
  •  Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/3 Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/3 Cup Milk
  • 1 Package Puff Pastry (Thawed)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Cook GODSHALL’S turkey bacon to package instructions, then dice. (Ignore step if using GODSHALL’S Smoky CRUMBLZ)
  3. Warm the olive oil in a skillet.
  4. Then add chopped onion. Sauté on medium high for approx. 5 minutes. Set aside.
  5. Cook the rib eye in the skillet for approx. 1 minutes. Immediately add the onions mixture back to the skillet.
  6. Then, add seasonings, cream and milk. Bring to a  boil and stir until mixture thickens. Remove from heat.
  7. Spray each cup in a muffin tin with non-stick spray.
  8. Place a 4-inch square of pastry dough in each muffin cup.
  9. Add about 1/4 cup of cheesesteak mix to each cup.
  10. Bake for approx. 10 minutes.
  11. Then, place a small bunch of cheeses on each cheesesteak cup and continue to bake for approx. 2-3 minutes.
  12. Serve hot and ENJOY!
