Bacon Pad Thai
Fragrant and exotic
perfect for spring
Ingredients:
- 6 Strips GODSHALL’S Real Meat Turkey Bacon or Chicken Bacon
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Cup Diced Fried Tofu
- 1 Egg
- ½ lb Rice Noodles
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Fish Sauce
- 3 tbsp Tamarind Paste or ½ Cup Tamarind Sauce
- 1 tsp Chili Oil or Paste (red)
- ½ lb Shrimp Shelled and Deveined
- 2 Limes
- 1/4 Cup Crushed Peanuts
- 2 Scallions Diced Fine from White to Mid-Green
- 2 Cups Bean Sprouts
Directions:
- Dice bacon and fry adding garlic and tofu to the pan.
- Scramble egg into pan.
- Add soaked noodles, shrimp and sauce and toss
- Add bean sprouts and Scallions and toss until shrimp is properly cooked
- Top with squeezes of Lime juice and crushed peanuts
