Appetizer or Desert:

Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Figs

1 package (12oz.) of Godshall’s Real Wood Smoked Turkey Bacon
Dozen fresh Figs (preserved only if no others are available)
8oz goat cheese, plain
Toothpicks soaked at least an hour in advance

Cut figs open but not through on one side
Press an indentation in each side with your thumbs
Overfill each side with spoonful of goat cheese
Close and wrap with bacon
Wrap in a twist so as much of fig is covered as possible
Close with toothpick
Grill until bacon is toasted and edges nicely crisp
Remove toothpicks and serve
