Goat Cheese & Bacon-Stuffed Sweet Pepper Poppers

The Spicy Pepper Everyone Will Enjoy!


  • 1/2 Cup GODSHALL’S Smoky CRUMBLZ
  • 8 oz. Goat Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 Cup Green Onions
  • 1 Garlic Clove (Finely Chopped)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese (Shredded)
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter (Melted)
  • 1 lb or 16 Sweet Peppers (Cut in Half Length Wise and Seeded)
  • 1 Teaspoon Thyme Leaves (Chopped Fresh)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 Degrees F and spray baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  2. In a medium microwaveable bowl, microwave goat cheese and whipped cream uncovered on high for 30 to 60 seconds. (Until Soft)
  3. Once softened, add in green onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, bacon CRUMBLZ and salt.
  4. In separate small bowl, mix bread crumbs, parmesan cheese and melted butter.
  5. Evenly fill the pepper halves with the goat cheese mixture.
  6. Sprinkle bread crumb mixture on top of goat cheese mix and lightly press down to make sure it sticks.
  7. Place the peppers on the baking sheet evenly apart.
  8. Bake in approx. 30 to 35 minutes or until the top of the peppers begin to become a light golden brown and peppers become tender.
  9. Sprinkle with thyme and serve.
