Document Control Speacialist
Receive, review, track, accept/reject vendor QA Food Safety required documents within the
FSQA Department at both plant (QA, QC, Regulatory Certifications and R&D), Document Management
Systems, off-line processes, and hard-copy methods.

The Document Control Technician or Specialist revise, review, and write SOPs: position collects, maintains and distributes controlled documents necessary to maintain conformance to specifications and regulatory requirements.
Reviews documents for completeness, stores in designated systems, routes as appropriate and distributes within the established legal guidelines and internal standards to ensure the production of the highest quality products in the safest and most efficient manner.
Working hours and days flex to ensure manufacturing requirements are met Perform such duties at both Telford, PA & Lebanon, PA Plant (2 or 3 days a week at each location.
The role interacts extensively with Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and R&D.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to represent the company needs when dealing with suppliers, contract manufacturers, regulatory agencies, and other departments within the corporation.
Knowledge of HACCP, food safety management, and environmental monitoring. Knowledge of government regulations 21CFR Part 111, FSMA 117.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Strong communications skills, both written and oral, to effectively implement and facilitate new ideas, processes, and programs into a new production facility
Quality Control Experience will be prioritized along with a personable candidate who is ready and willing to work!
Document Control Experience
Microsoft Office skills should be at intermediate level
Data Entry Capabilities
QUALIFICATIONS: • 3 – 5 years’ experience:
In a quality assurance role in food/personal care/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment; organic and/or natural foods experience a plus.
Working with a comprehensive document control system.
Trace Gains, safefood360, or other food safety & quality management software, Familiarity with FDA, SQF, GFSI, ISO or USDA regulations,
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or similar field or 3+ years demonstrated skills in the food or pharmaceutical industry with supported formal training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to legally work in the United States is required.
Successful Completion of a drug and background screen.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in various temperatures (office/lab/production).
