Sun-Dried Tomato Pesto Bacon Bread
6 Slices of Godshall’s Turkey Bacon
3/4 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 Cup Vegetable oil
2 Eggs
1 3/4 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Cup Chopped Sun Dried Tomatoes
1/3 Cup Pesto
Dice and lightly brown 6 slices of Godshall’s Turkey Bacon — keep brown bits from the pan.
Whisk 3/4 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, Pan scraping from Bacon and two eggs.
Whisk the following items together:
1 3/4 cups flour, 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, 1 Tablespoon Sugar, 1 1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder, 1 Teaspoon Lemon Zest, 1/2 Teaspoon Salt, 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper, and lastly 1/4 Teaspoon of Baking Soda.
Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Pour into Bread Pan.
Bake for around 40-50 minutes.
Serve Warm with a Pat of Salted Butter.
