Servings: 8-10
Total Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients
- 6 slices Godshall’s Chicken Bacon
- 1 baguette
- 8 ounces triple crème brie, cut into 20 slices
- 2 Granny Smith apples, sliced
- 1 cup fresh arugula
- Optional: hot honey, for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a skillet on medium heat, cook the bacon until crisp, about 6 to 8 minutes, flipping once halfway through. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with a paper towel to absorb any grease. Chop the bacon into small pieces and set aside.
- Cut the baguette into 20 slices. Place the bread slices onto a baking sheet fitted with a rack or parchment paper. Add 1 slice of brie onto each slice of bread. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes, or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is bubbling and melted.
- Remove from the oven and top each crostini with an apple slice, on top of the melted cheese. Sprinkle the bacon pieces evenly across the top. Drizzle each crostini with the hot honey and garnish with arugula.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
