Job description:

The Corporate Trainer supports employee development and training across multiple departments, including Office Personnel, FSQA/R&D, Warehouse, Utilities, Maintenance, and Production as needed. This role plays a key part in onboarding, skills development, system and program training, and ongoing employee engagement to support performance, safety, and retention.

Core Responsibilities

Training & Development

  • Lead and support Alchemy training, including monthly and annual training plans
  • Collaborate with HR, Plant Trainer, and Management on the annual training calendar
  • Deliver training on leadership, SOPs, safety, and professional development
  • Troubleshoot Alchemy and support system related training needs
  • Assist with ESL training and provide updates to management
  • Support LOTO and Forklift certification training
  • Assist with SOPs, work instructions, and leadership development projects

New Hire Onboarding

  • Support Day 1 new hire orientation and initial training
  • Meet with new employees in their work areas on Day 1 and Day 2
  • Follow up with new hires and supervisors within the first week to review training completion and identify additional needs
  • Develop and support individual training plans as needed
  • Conduct daily check ins with new hires to provide support and ensure a positive onboarding experience
  • Address and escalate concerns to HR or supervisors as appropriate
  • Provide feedback on performance and communicate observations to supervisors
  • Complete the one week new hire checklist and submit to HR and Plant Management
  • Assist supervisors with 90 day evaluations, including translation support when needed

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between employees, supervisors, HR, and management
  • Provide translation support for management as needed
  • Conduct plant walks to observe training effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide recommendations to management to support retention and employee success

Additional Duties

  • Member of the Event Committee
  • Member of the Safety Committee
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry
  • Ability to work flexible hours across multiple shifts
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Forklift and LOTO certified
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Preferred

  • Prior training or facilitation experience
  • Strong knowledge of production operations
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and coaching individuals
