Beef Bacon Wrapped Pineapple Spears

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Godshall’s Beef Bacon
  • 8 pineapple spears
  • 2 oz maple syrup
  • Bamboo skewers
  • 2 tablespoons of mint or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak bamboo skewers in water about 15 minutes
  2. Preheat the oven to 400ºF. Line a baking sheet with foil and add a wire rack
  3. Insert one skewer into each pineapple spear. Wrap each pineapple spear with one bacon slice. Place
  4. each bacon-wrapped spear seam-side down onto the wire rack. Brush each spear with maple syrup
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes total, flipping them halfway through, until bacon is cooked and crispy.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
