Chicken Bacon Burrata and Avocado Toast

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Godshall’s Chicken Bacon, chopped
  • 4 slices toasted sourdough bread
  • 8 oz Burrata cheese
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons Everything Bagel seasoning
  • Micro-greens for garnish (Chives as alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Place the chopped bacon into a frying pan and cook on medium-high heat until crispy. Remove the cooked bacon from the pan and set aside on a paper towel when done.

  2. Peel and remove the seeds from the avocados. Mash the avocados in a bowl with a fork until smooth.

  3. Spread the mashed avocado on the 4 sourdough bread slices and distribute evenly. Sprinkle the lime juice on top, followed by the Everything Bagel seasoning. Add the chicken bacon pieces. Break the burrata into 4 rustic pieces and place on top of each slice. Top with microgreens or chives and a pinch of red pepper flakes, and serve immediately.
