Servings: 6 to 8
Total Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pack Godshall’s Beef Bacon, chopped 1” pieces
  • 10.5 oz goat cheese, room temperature
  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 6 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
  • 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • salt
  • freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a bowl, add the goat cheese, cream cheese, lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Stir until combined and then pour into a 1 quart sized baking dish. Spread evenly across the bottom of the pan. Bake for about 20 minutes or until warm and bubbly.
  2. While cheese mixture is baking, cook the chopped bacon in a pan while stirring, on medium heat until crisp – about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel. Add dates to the same pan and cook for about a minute until warmed through.
  3. When the baked cheese mixture is out of the oven, top with the bacon and dip!
