Servings: 6 to 8
Total Time: 30 Minutes
Ingredients
- 1/2 pack Godshall’s Beef Bacon, chopped 1” pieces
- 10.5 oz goat cheese, room temperature
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 6 Medjool dates, pitted and chopped
- 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- salt
- freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a bowl, add the goat cheese, cream cheese, lemon juice and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Stir until combined and then pour into a 1 quart sized baking dish. Spread evenly across the bottom of the pan. Bake for about 20 minutes or until warm and bubbly.
- While cheese mixture is baking, cook the chopped bacon in a pan while stirring, on medium heat until crisp – about 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate lined with a paper towel. Add dates to the same pan and cook for about a minute until warmed through.
- When the baked cheese mixture is out of the oven, top with the bacon and dip!
