
Ingredients
- 12 strips Godshall’s Beef Bacon
- 1/2 red onion, sliced paper thin
- 1-1/2 cups cucumber, sliced thin, or diced
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 pitas or naans
- Basil and dill, for garnish
Optional (for added crunch):
- 2 Roma tomatoes, sliced 1/4 thick
- 2 cups shredded red cabbage
- 1/2 bunch of parsley, roughly chopped
- 1/2 bunch of cilantro, roughly chopped
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Cook Godshall’s Beef Bacon over medium heat until you’ve reached the desired doneness.
- Meanwhile, warm the naans over the grill or in the oven.
- Take the warm naans and spread the yogurt down the middle and place the onion and cucumber slices over it.
- For added crunch, use the optional ingredients: Mix the red cabbage with the cilantro, parsley, lemon, and salt.
- Place the cabbage on top of the yogurt, then add the tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions.
- Top with Godshall’s Beef Bacon, garnish with herbs and fold over.
