Job Purpose

The Receptionist/Entry Level Accounts Receivable, has a combination of administrative and financial responsibilities. This position involves delivering customer service to clients and visitors in the office at Godshall’s Distribution Center and providing vital support in the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function.

Duties and Responsibilities

Primary job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. Greet and assist individuals in person, over the phone, or via email.
  • Screen and transfer phone calls and make delivery appointments on the phone or through email.
  • Call in Lunch orders for Board meetings, send, pay, distribute them, and assist with cleaning up once meetings are done.
  • File and maintain accurate and organized records. Wellshire/Kroger/EDI (AR)
  • Manage Godshall’s Distribution Center front door entrance, letting employees, visitors, contractors, and clients in the building. Receive and distribute information from solicitors (business cards, paperwork, etc.).
  • Assist with applicants coming to interview by having them fill out applications, calling the appropriate interviewer, and sending the completed application to HR in the Telford office once the interview has been completed.
  • Send invoices to Telford for customer pickups.
  • Assist with employee orders, entering Sales Orders into the Sage system and getting updated prices quarterly.
  • Get updated prices from employee pricing (every quarter)
  • Scan information for Accounts Receivable recordkeeping.
  • Handles visitor sign-in sheet logs, ensuring sign-in/out of access cards and sending forms to the FSQA department for recordkeeping.
  • Send them to the FSQA practitioner once the sheets are full.
  • Handling visitor access card sign-in/out + Taking driver’s license/giving back.
  • Assist with Amazon Customer Service inquiries, check reviews and feedback.
  • Reach out to customers if needed.
  • Take calls from customers with coupon requests and send out a self-addressed envelope stamped to mail the coupons to them.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications required to perform the job successfully include:

  • High school diploma.
  • Administrative Office experience.
  • Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role is preferred.
  • Knowledge in Sage is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequently uses repetitive hand motions.
