Description
The Manufacturing Systems Support Analyst will provide support request calls from our employees, and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve internal as well as external issues with courtesy and professionalism. This role has responsibilities on the production floor and office for both manufacturing tasks and IT tasks.
Schedule
Monday through Friday plus Saturdays and mandatory overtime when needed.
2nd shift: Approximately 3 pm-11pm
Hours may vary. Hours are subject to change
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary job duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for remote desktop support.
- Support multiple clients each day.
- Administer changes and adjustments to systems, as needed.
- Correct label errors and relabel product as needed.
- Troubleshoot production and inventory data through multiple systems (ERP, MES) to diagnose and correct errors.
- Work with vendor representatives to identify and correct causes of hardware and software malfunctions and to perform enhancements.
- Respond to and resolve difficult inquiries and complaints.
- Assist in developing, planning, implementing, and administering goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Provide data/reports to manufacturing to assist in meeting company goals.
- Troubleshoot system opportunities that arise daily.
- Training team members on proper procedures in the manufacturing execution system.
- Assisting teams with inventory.
- Basic troubleshooting on hardware issues, i.e. handheld scanners/printers/computers/scales.
- Setting up Shop Floor workcenters/computers/tablets/scanners/printers.
- Testing MES system functions and upgrades.
- Provide emergency responses to reduce downtime, correct errors, monitor vendor activity, diagnose system failures, and conduct off-hours scheduled and as-needed maintenance.
- Collaborate and communicate with co-workers to increase efficiency and enhance the team's time management.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications required to successfully perform the job include:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer troubleshooting skills.
- Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.
- Ability to work independently and with the IT and manufacturing teams.
- Analytical skillset to evaluate data.
- Previous manufacturing experience strongly desired.
- Report writing experience a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- Previous customer service experience strongly desired.
Required Education:
- Associate degree or work equivalent.
Working Conditions
Various conditions including office, warehouse, and production facilities. Working conditions will include extended periods in cold and wet meat processing environments requiring protective clothing.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform extensive walking and standing throughout the shift and daily.
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer throughout the shift and daily.
- May need to lift up to 50 pounds.
