Ingredients
- 1 pack Godshall’s Maple Turkey Bacon
- 2 lbs Sweet potatoes, cleaned and dried
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 Tablespoons Kosher salt plus extra for serving
- 1 Teaspoon maple syrup, optional
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven to 400°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut each sweet potato into sticks.
- In a large bowl, toss the sticks with the olive oil and 2 tsp of salt. Arrange the pieces onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, then toss and bake again for 10 minutes, until browned on both sides.
- Bake the bacon for 12 minutes, until cooked and crisp. Chop into small pieces, about 1/2 inch, and toss with the baked sweet potato fries.
- Garnish with a sprinkle of salt and an optional drizzle of maple syrup. Serve while still warm.
