Ingredients
- 12 oz package Godshall’s Turkey Bacon, cooked and chopped
- 2 cups shredded smoked Gouda cheese
- 2 cups shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
- One 7-ounce jar pimientos, drained and finely chopped
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cayenne pepper
- 35 baguette slices, 1/4” thick
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- In a large mixing bowl, and add the cheeses, mayonnaise, pimientos, black pepper, and garlic powder to the bowl. Stir until combined. Season the mixture with cayenne pepper, to taste.
- Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast for 4 to 5 minutes or until light brown.
- Spread the pimiento cheese mixture evenly on each toasted slice and top with the cooked bacon. Bake until the cheese is melted and browned, about 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
