Ingredients

  • 12 oz package Godshall’s Turkey Bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups shredded smoked Gouda cheese
  • 2 cups shredded extra-sharp cheddar cheese
  • One 7-ounce jar pimientos, drained and finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 35 baguette slices, 1/4” thick

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, and add the cheeses, mayonnaise, pimientos, black pepper, and garlic powder to the bowl. Stir until combined. Season the mixture with cayenne pepper, to taste.
  3. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and toast for 4 to 5 minutes or until light brown.
  4. Spread the pimiento cheese mixture evenly on each toasted slice and top with the cooked bacon. Bake until the cheese is melted and browned, about 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
