Beef Bacon Poutine

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pack Godshall’s Beef Bacon, Chopped
  • 1 Bag (28 oz) Frozen French Fries
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 1/2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • 3 Tablespoon All-purpose Four
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 Cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 2 Cups White Cheddar Cheese Curds

Instructions

  1. Spread the fries on a baking sheet, and bake according to the package directions.
  2. Add bacon to a pan, cook over medium heat until crisp. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the shallots and garlic to the pan, and cook until soft.
  4. Add the flour while stirring constantly until it becomes a golden color.
  5. Pour the chicken broth into the pan little by little, while stirring constantly.
  6. Add the salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Continue to stir until the gravy gets thicker, about 5 minutes.
  7. Put the fries in a serving dish, and top with cheese curds, gravy, mozzarella cheese, and the bacon.
